I have begun to document the music scene here in Edinburgh. From smaller bands in tiny venues to bigger acts in the town's larger performance spaces, and I am loving every second. It has not been an easy thing to learn to do, but my subjects are patient and seem to welcome the attention. I love the magic of performance. When the atmosphere in the room shifts and suddenly we're in a shared moment, with shared emotions that will never be repeated. My instinct is to try at capture some of that . Music transcends. It moves us in ways other art forms simply can't.
